Job Description:

As a Care Worker with AAHM Group Ltd, you will play a vital role in providing compassionate care and support to elderly residents in old people’s homes. Your responsibilities will include assisting with daily activities, medication management, personal care, and providing companionship. We are seeking individuals who are passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of others and are committed to delivering exceptional care services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist elderly residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
• Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, fostering a nurturing and supportive environment.
• Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in residents’ condition to supervisory staff.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the holistic well-being of residents.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in caregiving is preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Empathy and compassion for elderly individuals.
• Ability to work well in a team and independently.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must have or be willing to undergo relevant training and certifications, including:
  • Care Certificate
  • NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care (desirable)
  • Manual Handling and Basic Life Support training
  • Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check
